She even stated that she was willing to kill her future Ashikabi if she would ever react to him/her, due to her hate towards Ashikabis. She was introduced as the first Sekirei that wanted to become the strongest without the help of an Ashikabi. Tsukiumi is a Sekirei with a tsundere personality and the most aggressive of Minato's party and has a very short temper she rarely smiles. At the beginning, she wanted to be the strongest to demonstrate that Ashikabi were not necessary to win but later she confides to Miya that her only goal is to get stronger to protect and live together with her Ashikabi forever. 22-23) She says that she is Minato's legal wife.

She contacted him over a dream saying that she would kill him, but when they finally met she was persuaded into becoming his Sekirei. So, leave a comment below and thanks for your time. She is Minato's fourth Sekirei and her power is water (derived from her name "umi" which means the sea). I'm always open to the opinions of others, but I admit I did hijack this particular topic.

Posting comments on this website doesn't make my opinions greater and more valid than yours and I'm just glad I have the privilege and the opportunity to share my opinions with you. We are all Sekirei fans here, we just see things differently. This meant to be friendly discussion, so please be polite and argue your points in a civilized manner. Well, that's all I have for you this time, now it's your turn to tell me what do you think about Tsukiumi. Minato brought out the best in Tsukiumi and I want to believe she brought out the best in him as well, and I know that's probably not what the creators of this show intended with these characters, but that's the way it came across to me. Minato, for his own part, allows Tsukiumi to be happier and more comfortable with the company of others, which again, goes back to Tsukiumi's realization that there are things she couldn't have accomplished if there weren't others supporting her. At first, she saw him as weak and cowardly, but she comes to understand that he does possess his own brand of strength and bravery, the problem is that he just doesn't give himself enough credit. Her relationship with Minato, however, is the most crucial aspect of her character development. Her opinions about friendships and companionship begin to change through her interactions with other characters and she comes to understand the power of teamwork and unity and that nobody can do everything by themselves, no matter how strong and talented they might be.

From that moment, Tsukiumi begins to change.Īt first, she only sees the other Sekirei, especially Musubi, as rivals for Minato's affections, but in time, she starts to see them as friends and starts to enjoy their company, even if it's for the sake of competition. Her character development begins when she meets Minato and joins his harem. She is obessed with strength and wants to become the strongest Sekirei without claiming an Ashikabi, which is born from a belief that her self-worth will diminish if she is forced to rely on someone else to become powerful.

Tsukiumi enters the story as a very aggressive person who rarely smiles. There are plenty of things I love about Tsukiumi, such as the beautiful figure, her amazing water powers, her strength of will and the vocal talents of both Marina Inoue and Lydia Mackay, but what my favorite aspects about her are both her character development and her relationships with Minato. This my first Sekirei -related deviation, so I dedicated to make it about Tsukiumi, my favorite character in the show.
